I worked as a video production intern with the Rochester Red Wings. The minor league team was the affiliate of the Minnesota Twins at the time of my internship. While interning I learned to create advertisements, operate a broadcast camera, use a switcher board, and more.
The Office Night Promotion
This promotion was based off of The Office, Season 5, Episode 12 – The Duel. This video was posted to social media for advertisement of the event.
Video Headshots
At the Rochester Red Wings Field, video headshots are played during starting lineups. They are also shown before the players bat every game. These video headshots served the purpose of a highlight reel, made for each player. These were made entirely in Adobe After Effects. Here are two of my favorites!
August Rally Video
This video was made for the bottom of the 9th inning. It is intended for times when the Red Wings are losing the game. The intention of the video is to get fans “pumped up” and not wanting to leave the stadium.
Plates Win Animation
On Thursdays, the Rochester Red Wings play as the Rochester Garbage Plates. This animation is played after the Plates win the game. It loops until fans have left the stadium.
